It was a windy and miserable day in UK ,just like what Winnie The Pooh always says. I have gotten myself used to the mind-blowing wind by now. The flu was bugging me for the whole trip. But then again, i didn,t let the flu to get over me at all. Wonder how enthusiastic i manage to stay until the very end of the trip. Anyway, some story here im gonna tell here about Stonehenge. Not about the origins and folklores about it but deja vu my friend had on that day.

We saw a rainbow over the Stonehenge.

Now you people may think that it´s nothing to shout about . On that very morning, my friend told me : “ eh i dreamed about you yelling at me to look at the rainbow “.*with sleepy eyes. I was like,okay.It,s just a dream what.

Within moments we stepped outside the house, IT happened. deja vu for us the first time personally. The 2nd time it happened was at Stonehenge with dark dark skies as background. Dramatic overcast skies then it drizzled.

You could kinda guess what happened next right.?

I got the packet finally from my parents finally !!! It was kinda surpising actually,considering how fast the package arrived my place in germany all the way from puchong .It took 3 days.wth. speed of lightning . Of course,I can already guess what my beloved parents did . They chose fedex international priority by air instead over ship.LOL. And it goes without saying.When customers pay that much for service , of course you get that delivered fast. 3 days by air in comparison to 2 months by ship. PRICE? 7 times more expensive.=.=||| I will only say,im so touched by my parents´ gesture. *though i kept on scolding my mum for choosing that expensive option.

What i found in the 15kg package: everything i miss about malaysia.awww... I have satay fish,love letter biscuits from munchy*those during cny ,all sorts of herbal soup packs,hup seng biscuits and tau sar pheah !!! woohooo. IT DEFINITELY MADE MY DAY !!!! TTFN

Happy Valentine´s Day

Honestly,i don,t know what to write on this day. Raving about romantic things every couple will do on this lovey-dovey is not my style either. Self -wallowing on your own if you have no Valentine to celebrate this day with is a big No-No. Why ? I don,t see myself wasting time to think about these stuffs. It,s just not me. I prefer to have the solitude and freedom to do whatever i want. It is times like this which makes me even more tougher and resilient knowing that im on my own and it is up to me to make my life as beautiful and ever more fulfiling than ever.

I went Metzingen yesterday. My goal was simple and fairly direct: buy new boots and sports shoes. Luckily i got what i want and pretty satisfied with my haul. One long suede boots and a pair of sport shoes. Both from Timberland .

It has been two years since my last post. Can´t really remember what made me stop blogging all of a sudden. The reason i´m back blogging is because i cant believe how wonderful is my life when i read my old posts.

You can find it funny or boring but it´s my life .Life is not supposed to be perfect nor should it be any less imperfect. My sister has been nagging me to blog about my life in germany,travels,the mundane life here and hell yeah,when i feel the need to shout out a bit.

Today marks the end of my 2nd sem and the beginning of my first winter break.

Gonna blog about my past travels this break to make up for my absence.

Can´t really promise that i will update my blog as frequently as most bloggers should.

The queue was freaking damn longggggggggggggggggg.....
luckily my dad used the express lane...if not for that,
i think we'll stuck our feet on the ground for a few hrs....

to use the free wifi surfing Facebook.

Xmas Around The Corner

My holidays were well spent.
I would gladly say so.
Done with Twilight series namely: Twilight,New Moon,Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, courtesy of Nicole .
Honestly speaking, books over movies.
Bella in the book is so not the Bella in the movie.
And Edward that has millions of teenage girls swooned over him is simply romantic.
I couldn't comprehend the irrational mob at first.
Not that i'd any idea how charming and deadly romantic the character is moulded by Stefanie Meyer.
Hence the craze is explained.

He's protective.
He's deadly and dangerous.
And he's so incredibly romantic that every girl screams at his name....
No wonder he's the Prince Charming that every girl fantasises to be with.
Guess that Stefanie Meyer knows what type of guy that makes girls tick.
U heard media reporting about how the movie adaptation popularises Robert Pattinson but not Kristen Stewart.Right.
Essentially, the book tells the story from Bella's perspective and Jacob's in the last book.
Anyone will need to check out the book to understand Bella more.
The reason? Bella's super-duper-hyper emotional.
My verdict: Don't let the movies ruin the books. Get a taste of romance if you want reading the books.Breaking Dawn is phenomenal !!!

Well, the one last regret i would had after this holiday is well over is that, my Thailand trip flopped.
Blame it on my dad , who accidentally lost his passport at KLIA after coming back from Vietnam.
And the Immigration told him that the passport replacement process will take 1 month !!!!
Can you believe that ?......as a punishment to careless citizens no doubt...sigh

What to ramble here ? I'm so lazy during holidays....ciaoz.

I do really hope that i have internet access at home.
To make blogging a.k.a rambling during the holidays an indulgence rather than a chore.*I had to go to my dad's office to online.dang

Oh yeah. by the time holiday's over .

Yes.
U heard me right.
I'm back.
For good...of course.
It's been like...erm...almost 7 weeks since my last post.
Well, almost every blogger will start off with a quick and lenghty update .
I felt like i'm compelled to do so...
all the same.
I'm doing it...to keep my sanity and yours as well in check.XD

After the hectic,killing,torturing,mind-numbing,sleep deprived and examssssssssssssss filled month, i went to a dinner at KOTA KeMUNING country and golf club resort on my last day of exam.

I hadn't realised that it's the very place that my dad and his buddies play until i went.
It's very grand from afar and even more beautiful as i stepped in and saw people swimming under the moonlight.
How i missed swimming....

The performances of the night were amazingly good.
A pretty girl from ausmat played yang qin.
A malay guy from korean programme had all the girls in the hall swooned over him when we realised(he was hiding down the stage)that he actually sang the Bo Go Shi Da(Stairway to Heaven) as the background music to a Korean cultural dance....
U'd no idea how remarkably similar his voice sounds to a korean.....
IN fact....i bet he can easily chase korean girls there in korea with his singing skill.Da!!!

That very night turned out to be my best night out ever XD
I was chatting away with Yee Min(the overwhelming star of the night) when the emcee announced my name.
*"Huh ?...ey...go on stage larh...." she nudged my arm.
*paiseh nia.
So i was just announced as the best student in my programme and received rm200 as a result.
lolx....no one ever told me about this "tradition" in INTEC.
So to sum up my feelings at that time, i was indeed grateful for the extra boost in $$$ and wished to clarify the fact that i wasn't the best or whatsoever.
I just got lucky.i guessed.

And our table's very very "ong".
All cards were turned on us that night.
It ought to be a bad day .It's Friday13th..ya know.
Couple on that, the table where i'm sitting was no.13.sui dao.....
hmm....then one by one sitting on the table got up and received our $$$.
Especially Yee Min. No doubt she was the crowd's favourite and the night truly belongs to her.
Congrats to her again.
Hence, our theory was that (-) x (-) =(+)
HA HA.

Getting Lost

Yes, i know, it's been awhile since i've updated my blog.
Here's even more bad news.
There's a BIG probability that no blog will be posted anymore in the coming October.
Sorry, my dear friends XD

Last week of holiday saw me having so much fun with friends since a long time.
1 day outing with primary=secondary schoolmates turned out to be unexpectedly fun and joyful.I was really glad that i joined in =)

And my sis came back and it's memorable to see us 3 siblings fooling around in the house ,bonding and fighting as always.
My mum saw it as a rare opportunity to have us three kids making noises in the house.
Sigh...she misses having us around .
There's a tinge of silence in the air without our boisterous laughters and noises obviously i noticed whenever i come back on weekends.

Oh yeah, a fine German dining experience with my coursemates was on the list.
The German restaurant,Frankfurter Haus was located in uptown Bangsar.
In light of Smon's b'day, we made a trip downtown and celebrated with him.
Porks are a constant feature in German cuisine,not forgetting beer as well.
I got quite a shock at what i've ordered.
There's only 5 pork fillets with potato draped in gravy.
On the other hand, the espresso comes in a small tiny cup with a glass of water.
Thanks to CL who made the offer to switch the drinks,
if not, my grandma in Penang would see a "panda" arriving at her house from Puchong the next day morning.
I've no idea of it.Hahaha.
A newly acquainted Ausmat friend,Daniel got a taste of German food as well.
However, the ambience was somewhat still and silence.
Perhaps we arrived there too early and we're the only one in the restaurant.
However, the gastronomical delight of having German food in Malaysia was somewhat extraordinary and surreal.
But there's a catch: the price of the food is quite exorbitant but nonetheless, worth it due to the authenticity and originality of the food served as recommended by our German lecturer,Frau Maria.
The night was young still.
Subsequently, the b'day boy was in such a "drunken" mood that he belanja us desserts at Snowflake( can be found opposite Asia Cafe,Subang Jaya).
Gosh...you gotta taste the ice blended desserts there.
One can hardly finish the huge bowl of ice and it costs rm 5 only.
By the time i was halfway through finishing the bowl,
i couldn't quite taste any of the soya milk inside anymore .
They said -"FROSBITE"...=p

The rise of the next dawn signalled the coiming of the end of the holiday.
My family sent YS back to the rural Changlun and visited my granma.
And the holiday went by as quickly as it came.

So, what am' i busying about this last September and of course,
all these have something to do ,as if not,with what's lying in store for me in October.
Namely:
CAMBRIDGE AS GERMAN ....AS ENGLISH
Fuiyoh..."it's not a big deal...only AS not A2 mah..."
NOO....this wasn't from me...definitely.
Not if i'm insane or out of mind.
Teachers are trying their best to cheer us up although i must say, our reactions to the exams have been somewhat lacking in enthusiasm.
And in fact, we're losing half the battle in terms of our confidence and attitude towards it.

GREAT...another positive sign of half of the ALG students failing the exam.
History musn't repeat twice.
Choi....i don't wanna even think of it.
SO....at the end of the day.
ALL GOT STRESSED.
I'm not spared either.
Ask my roomate and housemates.
I'm having the stupid idea of getting myself sleeping pills these few weeks.
The pressure is too big to have a peace of mind at night.
I"ve been thinking and worrying things that i shouldn't have worried at all.
Go to bed at 10pm and end up sleeping around 12pm or sometimes 1am,at worst.
Eyebags are hanging around my both eyes, stubborn to go away.
Friends showed signs of anxiety.
INSOMNIA is what you called it right ?

Worry doesn't solve things either.
ACT ON IT>>>that has always been my belief.
Any good advice to have a sweet night of sleep ?
PLEASE TELL ME....

It's been a year since i got to know what's a dslr was all about.
Shutter speed,aperture,focal length,ISO speed,zoom lens....
Thanks to Jeremy and Fanson in P2P camp.
Since then onwards, i can't help to compare the picture quality everytime.
Between a compact one and a dslr.
Seriously, the difference is so obvious like heaven and earth.

And the thought of getting one myself just got more intoxicating day by day.
And the fire of wish is burning more and more intensely.
So yes, i'm gonna get one,komme was wolle.
As a motivation to study harder and thus,acing my examination as well as to satisfy my long time craving.

Durians Anyone ?

My cousin brother ,Vei Shearn is leaving Malaysia to England to further his pharmacy studies in University of Bath,UK.
He's also a JPA scholar and had just completed his A-Levels in UCSI.
He's a brilliant student since he's a small kid and we used to play "lompat tinggi" at my Grandma's house in Penang.
Needless to say, i lost to him. every time.
Reason?
Look at him.He's so freaking tall. YOu'll be shocked at his gigantic height-194cm.
Unbelievable.
Maybe it's due to his inherited genes. Both of his parents are tall too.
Anyway, my dad took him and my beloved aunt to a durian orchard in Janda Baik, Pahang.
It's somewhere near Genting Highlands, if i'm not mistaken.
The whole journey there took us approximately 1 hour or so.

18th b'day celebration at Secret Recipe

Yes, i know. It's been like 2 weeks since my b'day.
I've been busy with the chemistry test and AS ENglish trial since the end of mid-sem break.
Pardon me for the overdue post.

Initially i thought that it'll be just me and Shing Yee only,
then my buddies had an otherwise plan for me i guess.XD
To which i'm most seriously touched.=)
First of all(this sounds so formal), there's a need to thank all of my friends who came and celebrated my b'day with me.=)
Though some of them had Chemistry test the next day and others had to rush to finish up their homework, they still managed to show up.
That was so nice of them....
It's a pleasant surprise.
For 18years of life, this was the first and ever birthday celebration with friends on MErdeka day itself.
Sounds kinda sorrowful..>.<

On the birthday eve, my mum and i went shopping in Mid Valley. She bought this cake from Jusco. It's huge. And lolx,sis, don't get angry. The whole cake belongs to me for the first time.*devil laughing

I'm 18 finally.Phew~

Turning 18 has perhaps marked a turning point in my life.
You know, you are legal to do a lot of stuffs once you're 18.
Clubbing,withdrawing money more than rm200 per day and work as promoter...
It has been roughly one year since i came to INTEC.
A lot of things had happened in the past year.
Some pleasant, some dreadful but mostly memories worth to cherish of because of you guys around me.
We hung out, we talked German like nobody knows,we fooled around,we camwhored, we lamented how tough English and German is....
But most importantly, we had fun.

My father used to be an enthusiastic Malaysian when it comes to celebrating Merdeka.

The biggest factor is because of his daughters.

Every year, for the sake of his darlings, he would never fail to drive us and stop by the highway leading to KLCC.

Although the “wow, look how pretty are those fireworks!” scene ends in a matter of 10 minutes only, the drive to watch the fireworks display is worth remembering.

However, in recent years, the enthusiasm has gradually died away.

“Pa,let’s go to Sunway/KLCC/The Curve/Sg.Wang/Genting to watch the fireworks !”I said.

“Aiya, no need lah.Just stay at home and watch TV better.You can see it clearer and without losing a sweat.” said my father half asleep.

*erm…but…sigh….

“Can I go to the hill(high enough to watch fireworks from KL) and watch from there instead ?” I requested.

“It’s 12 midnight dear. Don’t go out okay? Watch from the balcony’s window.

*with a sense of disappointment, we went to bed and let the sounds of fireworks lulled us to sleep.

That is why we(me and my twin sister) always look forward to it on this special occasion.

Not only because of Merdeka, but it’s a special day for us.

You see, twins whose birthday falls on 31^st of August are a rarity.

When it comes to our b’day, we’re rest assured that it’ll a holiday and having said that, there’s no need to go to school.

Of course, we also never got the chance of celebrating our b’day with friends in school on that day itself.

*laugh out loud

Or to put it more aptly, Malaysians are probably thinking:

“Who cares about Merdeka?

Who cares about the birthday?”

The fact that it’s a holiday is what matters the most.

THE OBVIOUS ADVANTAGE.

Trust me, that was what I thought when I was small.

Sometimes, I do get asked “Kamu anak merdeka ?”

Another reason to be happy about it:

My parents can save a great deal of money over the years.

*No need to buy the cake twice.(kill two birds with one stone)

*No need to fork out extra money to buy firecracker for entertainment.(the government are the sponsors.)

*No need to throw a b’day party(the whole nation is celebrating for you already in case you don’t realize about it)

As for today , I’m dining out with my family for b’day celebration.

Without presents as usual.

It’s a family tradition by the way.

It’s unfortunate that my sis couldn’t join me .

Maybe I’ll ring her up and let her listen to the sounds made by fireworks.

Yes, indeed.
We've come a long way since we gained our independance in 1957 on that very meaningful day.
Compared to other countries which had been freed from the clutch of imperial powers around the same time.

Yet our country is now plagued with various problems.
H1N1.Politics fight.Corruption.Racial polarisation.Sense of disunity.Recession.
Sigh....

It's a time to reflect on our country's progress after 52 years of independance.
I read a comment article written by Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye in The Star today.
It resonates exactly what Malaysians's wishes for their mother country deep down.
I don't know about you guys' opinion about Malaysia.
Critics point out that we,youngsters,the future pillars of tomorrow don't give a damn on the fate of Malaysia.

I beg to differ.
There're people who have studied abroad and worked overseas only to find themselves back in this country where their heart belongs to.
Love for the country to them means serving the country.
They say,"Home is where the heart is".
I guessed this is true.
Maybe one day i'll truly understand the meaning of the phrase when i'm away from Malaysia.

May peace be known to all Malaysians in the wake of the spirit of Malaysian Boleh.
For the meantime, fly your Jalur Gemilang everyone !!!

Book Fest@KLCC

I felt guilty.
Never had i been able to sleep for 12hours non-stop since the start of this semester.
Wasted almost every morning by sleeping until 11am.
Of course, this is a perfect luxury.
For this holiday that is.

Straight to the topic.
Dressed up *it's been a long time since i put on a dress.
And this time around i drove the whole way to KLCC.
*whut~
With my mum besides me of course.
But then again, i got reprimanded for every driving offences that i made.
*STOPPP!!!! BRAKE!!!!! wheels screeching sound....
That's what happened repeatedly...REPEATEDLY.

Nonetheless, crowds were still evident in Suria KLCC.
Judging by the sheer number of masked people walking around.
There were even personnels holding the digital thermometer
asking to measure your body temperature.

One has to pay rm2 only for the entrance fee.
Students below 18 are free of charge.
My b'day was just shy of 1 week only.Luckily.
The Book Fest is held form 22nd-31st August.
Discounts and rebates are given nonetheless.
So if you're a book lover and reading maniac,
this is the best time to shop around for new books to be added to your own library...

Never mind if you're not interested in books,
there're some nice pc and camera booths set up to keep you occupied.
I bought my earphones there though.
Most of the books displayed are Chinese,
courtesy of Popular who co-organised this book festival.
Believe me...there're tons of books from Taiwan which will satisfy the voracious hungry appetite
of the chinese readers.
IN my case, i'll just retreat to my comfort zone.
By browsing books about DSLR in English.

Bumped into an ALG chinese senior at Signature,the food court.
He's with a girl of unknown identity.

With rm13 of parking fee, we exited KLCC.

German Week Closing Ceremony

Finally.Endlich.
Seems like everything has come to an end.
And it made everyone bloody happy, including our lecturers.=)

Aha.
I was getting the shock of my life when our ALG's JPA desk officer showed up .
My fingers were shaking badly .
Luckily my dad and bro were there to give me moral support.
Thx my buddies.SY..Sii...Liang...Nic...Ooi Siang...Chia Han*for yelling Street Fighter
and lots more.
I'll be even happier if my mum shows up.
Something crops up that eventful day.

It doesn't matter if i played well or not.
Cz it's not a competition anymore.
Time seems to take its own course.
Canon in D is one familiar song to all .
One that people can humm to its rhythm.
I sat there ,looking at the black and white keys .
Wonder why i learn to play piano in the first place ?
Then i realised.

It's the enjoyment that comes flowing with the tune of the music.
Satisfaction gained when friends come up to you and said,
"hey, isn't this the soundtrack from the movie-Cape No.7?"
Yeah.Incredible.
Heck...it gives you an instantaneous mental boost to play better.
Or should i put it, to entertain people and myself.Ha.

Most of the time, i felt better after i played the piano .
When good days are hard to come by.
When bad days are here to linger .
When silence seems eternal.

Ich war sehr zufrieden.
Wirklich.
Won 2nd place in filmmaking competition.*gonna upload soon for review
Same thing goes for Battle Of Talent.
Ich kann einkaufen gehen ...haha
Had the last laugh with 1st place in Fashion Show together with Rashidi.

All in all,the night ended with a *APLOMP -big fat german sausages.

Closing Ceremony Rehearsal

I wasted my whole afternoon waiting for the stupid bus to come along.
Together with my classmates, we went back to our respective hostel first around 11am by taxi.
What a beautiful day , the sun was scorching hot and drowsiness soon lulled us to sleep.
Nic was sick due to food poisoining
No German class and we're excluded fom classes in the afternoon.

Next up, lunch at McD with them again and guess what ?
We bumped into Mr.Brian and Mr.Kamal(one of the judges during the GBOT audition) there.
Ahem....unexpected.
I ordered the bubur ayam McD with the thought of saving some money.Going ridiculous here.
Gonna be scolded by mum if she finds out about me being so thrifty when it comes to food.

Another thing was, i was called up last minute to play the piano as opening performance .
Walaoe....nvm lo....and so i decided to perform Canon in D albeit it's an easy piece.
Haiz....my fingers got most of the blame as i haven't touched the piano for a month.
Not gonna practice and perform the challenging piece played during GBOT.

Alas...my stomach protested soon after i galloped what seems like only half a bowl of porridge with no chicken flesh inside.
Out of a sign of respect for my poor stomach,i relented.
A nice chicken burger seems to stop the scary howl of the army.

When we finally got there, it's already 4pm.
Then came the bad news.
Reharsals for the closing ceremony was cancelled due to double booking of the Great Hall.
Heck....we could have our English class in the wake of AS English Trials 2 weeks later.

okay, that's a really lame question.
Yesterday night, i was pulling out a rm1 note frm the wallet when i ask my housemates,
CAN YOU SPOT BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA wordings on the note ?
Try it, mate.Maybe you'll have luck.

We squeezed and squinted our eyes.
It took us at least half a hour to find it.
Here's a tip: the wordings are at the bottom of the wau on the rm1 note.
As for the rest of the notes,haha......find it out yourselves.XD

Blueish Rambles

For a second, i don't know what to feel in anticipation of my holidays.
Supposingly, one should be happy right ?
One should be glad that holiday is the time to relax, travel, play and have fun,most importantly.

I'm just a lil'bit forgotten, that's all.
Can't meet up with friends, when friends around me start to rave about their reunion when they're back in hometown.
Can't travel, when friends make plan to go overseas or somewhere in Malaysia for holiday.
Can't play the piano,when the sustaining pedal came popping out.
Sigh.....a series of unfortunate events.

For some obvious reasons, people around me start to get tensed as AS English trial is just around the corner.
Did i mention that it's on 4th Sep ? Just right after my 1 week mid-sem break next week.
And my essay was deemed too long-winded by my teacher.
Starting to feel lost here.In the sense of ways to improve my English.
No amount of Newsweek or Times can pull me out of this black hole.

Okay...the disastrous news that the BRATS camp was postponed until further notice made me all the more gloomier.
A friend lost my 2gb pendrive, which luckily doesn't contain any important documents.
Guess that it's all fated.Just like how i lost my camera.
Until this moment, i still couldn't believe how i did it.
Frozen shots of that day still linger on my mind.
Though my dad didn't reprimand me , i felt so guilty of him entrusting me the camera .
A sense of remorse engulfed me totally.
Hence, i am now even fired up to save my JPA allowances to get my very own DSLR.
Don't laugh yet or even celebrate it.
Cz most probably my DSLR is on his way in a year's time, at the rate of my spending.^^

There's one thing more: It'll be a quiet affair for my b'day.
More than 300km away, lies my other side.
Due to her replacement classes on weekends, my family has decided not to visit her.
Even for the sake of joined celebration.
Apparently, this is also the 1st time WE're not celebrating Merdeka.
Haha.......i sound so unpatriotic.
I should grow up. No twins will never get separated , i should put it.
When i fly to Germany, this time around , the distance'll be more thousands of kilometres .

Ever since i'd handphone last year , there's an Indian guy i presumed, from the masculine voice that kept calling my no. asking for "BOY".

Wrong number.I replied curtly. Every single time an unknown no appeared on my hp screen, i knew it straightaway that it's "THE INDIAN UNCLE LOOKING FOR BOY".

Darn it. He doesn't believe me.Never.What the heck.

Maybe he was an"AH Long" and this so-called BOY owes him money.

So he kept calling until this very fine,stormy night.

Enough is enough.

How many times you want people to tell you that there's no BOY here.I'm a GAL lah....

I was being polite and used the soft approach for 1 year .Then all hell break loose.

Indian: Boy ,ada tak ?
Me:Tak ada.Wrong no.Salah nombor.(I don't know "wrong no" in Tamil.)
Indian: Tak ada ?

.......my housemate signalled to me to pass my hp to her.........

She: Cari Boy ?......aha....dia dah mati....
Indian:*shocked....mati ?
She: ya...mati dilanggar kereta....kat shah alam....dekat PKNS...
Indian:Ohh...ohh...ohhhh....sorry.*straightaway hold up the phone.

Guess that form now onwards, i won't be bugged by this no. again.
If he dares to call back again, i won't hesitate to reply him that BOY was dead from whatever accident or disease.Mist !

German Podcast Overload

BUT THEN AGAIN.

To quote my class rep, THIS IS SAD.

Why ?!!!

A short 2 minutes length of podcast is full of alien vocabulary.

Bravo. one has to listen to it at least 10 times to get EVERY SINGLE WORD.

Even with 4 pairs of ears listening, we're having a hilarious time to get the words.
Is es " aufregen" oder blah...blah...blah...which we'd no idea of.
Simply bcz we'd never learn the word before.

It's not like i've time to listen to every podcast more than once .

Everything is an uphill task from now onwards.Not sitting for the AS German or English isn't an option open to us.

Speaking German fluently is what matter the most.

Sigh....do or die .don't ask why .(Jackie Chan always tell his son so )

First nickname i ever got since i came to INTEC is Sonnenschein.In English,it means sunshine.
And that was courtesy of Maria,another schöne Lehrerin(pretty lecturer) in ALG.
Nicole taught me though.XD

And now that i cut my hair short again.Not ordinary short.Layer-like short.
Jet has another nickname for me."Xiao Tom"-little tomboy.Argh~~~~~
There's a "Da Tom"-big tomboy also. Referring to another girl friend.Adui.....
Boys do prefer girls with sleek and straight flowing hair.Tsk...
In the mean time,being tomboy is not a big deal.
She is not tomboy.She is just not girlish.

It's nice actually. For me ,i don't mind seriously.
Cause they are all my "brothers."
Adding another guy to the all the more masculine programme doesn't make any much difference.

Guess that i'll grow my hair long when i'm in Germany next time.
It's just too hot in Malaysia.Furthermore, a haircut in Penang is so cheap.

Well,urm, what better way to send this holiday than going back hometown ?
Plus,we had to send her back to Kolej Matrikulasi Kedah, a place "not so farawaY".
Anyway, i'm lucky to catch some glimpses of the places in her stories.
First of all, no MYDIN in the vicinity of their hostel.They need to take"illegal taxis" by paying rm3 per person in order to get to the nearest supermarket-Changlun Markt. Teruk....

The good thing is, Changlun is only about 5 minutes away fom the border of Thailand.

Due to high cases of fever among ALG students, HEP(hal ehwal pelajar) ordered the closing ceremony of German Week scheduled to be held on Sunday to be cancelled.

My first reaction ?
Relieved.Can't possibly stand the workload,never mind the rehearsals for Fashion Show (included in the performances for the night) again.
Had fever and cough since Saturday morning.Until yesterday, mum got worried and feared that it might be another sudden H1N1 case and brought me to a doctor.

2nd reaction ?
Felt disappointed .If not for the sudden news of the closing of my college due to H1N1, maybe,perhaps there'll be more people coming to support our event. But it was well done. And it can't be any better than this.

The Start Of 3rd Semester

It has been exactly 3 weeks since the start of my 3rd semester in INTEC.
The 1st week was kickstarted with hostel spring cleaning with my beloved housemates,Yen Wen, Sangeeta and roommate, Chin Vent. There were so many things to catch up with, cause i' haven't really had the chance to keep in touch with them during the hectic and tiring GMI practical training. Sang Sang, as we fondly called her went to Greece, Yen Wen to China and Chin Vent to Pulau Redang and Ketam during holidays. So nice....

The very next day saw me and ALM(medical) students(cz my housemates are all ALM...XD)painting the town red. First up, Transformers in IMAX Berjaya Times Square. But then, i watched Ice Age 3 alone since i'd watched it with my coursemates.But still, all was not play.

Due to my participation in the film workshop last semester, we're expected to produce a german short film and enter the filmmaking competition during German Week a.k.a Deutsche Woche(pronoucned doit-cher ,wo-her). Don't fool with this man, cause what's in store for us has really freaked us all out.

The whole week saw me,Zoing and Tick Son staying up late at school or discussing about the concept of our storyline. In the week itself also, it was evident that all of us do not have the mood to pick ourselves up and start studying. Grades of our exams last semester were highly shocking and depressing. Lolx. All these made us realised that the coming semester will be one that is full of hurdles and challenges and we were determined to overcome it. Okay, i said it, because it sounds optismistic.XD.Yeah, it's gonna be very very tough. 2major examinations-Cambridge AS-German and AS-English.And we need to brace ourselves for this roller-coaster ride.

We managed to borrow a 15,000 worth of camcorder from the Unit Media,INTEC to for the shooting of our film, thanks to the insistence of Herr.Brian(Mr).
I wasn't able to shoot the film mainly beacuse much of the scenes took place in boys' hostel,Cemara.Nevertheless, by the start of 2nd week, we'd begun with the editing part.3 of us scratched our heads trying to make it better and better.And tough as hell as it was.Ask Chen Liang and Ah Sii, they couldn't have disagreed with it.Well, what could i say ? YOU gotta experienced it yourselves !!!

On Friday, we'd completed our film. After so much efforts that we'd put it , i can only say that there's a sense of achievement. Although it wasn't that good or the best, i learnt a lot in the process. We wasted a lot of time due to technical problems-Malfunctioned Windows Movie Maker.Hi5-Tick Son and Zoing !

On Saturday of the 2nd week, the audition of GBOT(German Battle Of Talent) was held in Great Hall.I was highly disappointed with myself. My fingers went numb. The whole piece was filled with mistakes.The flow wasn't there. And this is what will happen when you didn't practice for the whole week.Plus the lousy baby grand piano available there.Still, i managed to get into the finals.XD. Okay,there's only 4 contestants for my category.

The next day, Sunday, I, Shing Yee, Chen and Prahlad gathered at "Starbucks"(it's actually a meeting place for students to discuss and study at Cemara) to work on the podcast. It works like this: Evry week, we are required to listen to one German Podcast downloaded via ITunes , list down the vocabulary, set some questions and try to get evry single word said . After that, we're gonna present it in front of the whole class.AN ADDITIONAL HOMEWORK aimed to improve our hearing and speaking for the AS German.......GREAT....

The 3rd week was the week that we'd all waited for so long.GERMAN WEEK !
All of us, were so occupied with our own respective jobs and tasks.
Heck...i wasn't the usual me as well.Didn't bother to do my Maths homework . German ? I don't think i've learnt any new vocabulary .And then, my housemates rarely saw me.I was out from morning 7am to night 11pm.Plus the daily visit to Faculty Of Music in my college for practice .I 'd even fallen in love with one of the grand pianos there.Sounds just right to me.

Bad Monday. I lost my Olympus camera.

And a list of meetings for the commitee members of GBOT throughout these weeks. I was one of them. On Friday, everything needs to be in place. Rehearsal for closing ceremony due on Sunday(today)was conducted .I was one of the models for Fashion Show.

On Saturday(Yest)morning, another rehearsal was held for yesterday's night. Fever came as sudden as lightning, no thanks to sleepless nights and fatigue.I was coughing too.And the whole day seems so long for me.After rehearsal which stretched until 2pm, i rushed for the Spelling Bee competition.Went home empty-handed.haha...

Listened to some sweet german ladies exchanging their stories and experiences in Malaysia in GERMAN....they came here under AFS(American Field Service) program and worked here as teacher for 1 year.

Everything was a rush from then onwards.NO,from morning itself. Wei Yap using Chen Liang's car fetched us back.Bathed."Ta Pau" 14 Nasi goreng cina for friends. Reached there by 7pm. No one arrived yet except for usherers(thanks to my juniors, they're really good) and us, contestants and committee members. The invited guests and judges(all Germans) had arrived .By 8pm, the seats were still empty.An air of anxiety was in the atmosphere.All of were disappointed obviously.

Nevertheless, the show must go on. The opening clip was stunning,again done by CL brilliantly,with courtesy of my LOTR music.Tick Son's introductory video about music in Germany was amazing as well.And the 2 emcees,Esmond and Sii did their job professionally.I put my purple bandana on,black T-shirt,brownish-red pants with brown belt and you know what,my friends couldn't recognise me.OMG.My friends thought that i looked like a street fighter, you know,Chun Li ? and it was not appropriate for me to look so chick and rock to perform a classical piece on piano.SWT dao......I was the 6th contestants to perform and then right after that, i changed my clothes quickly to parade in German costumes for Fashion Show to the tune of Lady Gaga's Just Dance.Funny.You will never see me doing that when i was in high school.

Then came the prize-giving ceremony after a special performance from the invited guests. I got 2nd prize!!! Unbelievable. My efforts had not gone to waste.Zoing was the champion for he really blew everyone of us away with his Yang Qin, a traditional chinese instrument.He rocks !!!

Fashion Show combined with German Battle Of Talent = An awesome night My boss, Chen Liang(he's the project manager) was there from morning till night non-stop.Salute him. He's the man.

Cheer 2009

These pictures were taken on the 2nd day of the Cheer finals at Stadium Bukit Jalil.After the Satuday night's orchestra, Jun Suet and i went to witness the unbelievably energetic performance by the cheerleading teams from all over Malaysia on Sunday morning. The atmosphere was like, wow, super -duper high ...cheers by the supporters for their own respective schools.Too bad there's no cheerleading team formed during my secondary school times.

MPO Orchestra ,KLCC

Well, it has been 1 year since i went to an orchestra concert in KLCC.

Since i don't have anything to do or anywhere to vacation, and so i thought, it'll be nice to go there with friends. And this was also the first time i brought my little brother along to an orchestra. Ying Sze. you should see how Juin Sern looks like with a batik suit on....very mature.
Besides, this was also the first time i'd ever organised an orchestra trip for 16 ppl !!! In the end, 15 ppl managed to turn up.Most of them were Chen Liang's friends.And by the way, thx to Chen Liang,without him, this wouldn't be possible at all.Luckily,i brought Andrew along too to keep my bro accompanied,if not, he must be bored to death. Jun Suet managed to come because she's having a long break now after the completion of her Alevels in Sunway.It has been 6 months since we met up and had a long chat together. After the orchestra, she crashed the night at my house and oh my, we chatted on the bed for what seems like 2 hours until 3am !!!! That was really fun !

But then again, if i didn't attend this concert, i might be able to join my parents for a trip to Penang to pay a visit to my sister.They took her to eat Japanese cuisine and seafood in Penang, what a pleasure !!! And i was left to take care of my bro and even took his report card at school.lolx.

Abiman,Wei Haw,Yik Chen and Chen Liang were some of my ALG friends who tagged along.All of us just said that the lady soprano was just way awesome ...the face expressions....the reverbrating echo of her melodious voice in the hall and of course, the ever wonderful playing of MPO players.

And least to mention that, we got sleepy towards the end of the concert although the highlight of the night was none other than the last 2 songs-Hadyn's Surprise Symphony and Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutti....hahaha

Transformer transformed for worse or good?

Obviously this movie has garnered so much attention these days that one is deemed ignorant if he or she chooses not to go for it.Want my piece of mind ?

Go for the theater for the sake of having your ears rudefully blasted by the loads and tons of CGI effects and sound effects.

Seriously.As if the director Michael Bay has not enough satisfaction of turning up the volume or speeding up the Transformers' transformation on screen in the first one, he decided to up the ante in this sequel:Revenge Of The Fallen.

Anyway, i agreeeeeed that this sequel will definitely satisfy the fans worldwide with MORE Autobots, Decepticons ,The Fallen inevitably, and of course....MORE eye-candy scenes from Megan Fox as advertised in newspapers. Instead of Shia Lebeouf getting the prime focus as the lead actor, some say Megan has grabbed the spotlight away from him.

Oh yeah, but i really liked this film due to some of the cold jokes and funny scenes.Hmm.aight ...the scene in which the chihuahua like-Decepticon begs Mikeala so that he can change his side from Decepticons to Prime.Interesting.

My friends thought that 150 minutes of screentime is a bit looong. They started to fall asleep halfway through the movie and eagerly checked their watches a few times.sigh....who says more is better ?

German Week Fanfare

There' s an upcoming talent competiton called German Battle Of Talent. a.ka. GBot during the German Week held annually by A-Level German's students scheduled to take place in July. Stuck in unbelievably mundane routine of waking up every morning at 6am.

Dragging my tired and sored feet back hostel by 9pm.
Started working on individual project in Benchwork classes evry afternoon since the start of this week.
We've heard how hard and tough was it.
So do the hellish preciseness of the dimensions of the profile block.
Actually it's a mild steel block.
It ain't easy but with the help with friends, it's fun at times.
Every bead of sweat that was poured will only helps making our piece of work rusts.More easily.

Is it cold and chilly ,the perfect escape from the heat in KL ? uh-huh.
No doubt this trip was probably the worst trip i've ever had in Genting(i went there more than 100 times,i STRONGLY believe)and quite ironically also, the most adventurous trip in my life.

Our first stop was KL SEntral. Our initial plan was, to board the earliest bus to Genting.Alas, we were so dumbed thinking that we probably had a chance to buy the tickets on the spot. Sold out.All.We had no chance but to restrategise our itinerary. And so, we bought the 2.30pm tickets.
I, being the tour guide, brought them to First World. Four of us :Me,syam,jian ming and abiman were excited and more than eager to try out our very first indoor activity - WALL CLIMBING. Sure, it looks pretty cool and we're being quite confident of reaching all the way top. But soon...all of us were not that sure anymore, it took quite a toll on our feets and arms' muscles. If you're heavy, the effects of the pull of gravity will be felt much more.

GMI Practical Training

The first day of our practical training. Wonder how all of us looked so excited at that time ...

It sucks.
Pardon my language.
It is certainly a tiring month for us.
Wake up at 6am.
Reach Bangi after an almost one hour of bus journey.
Start the day at 8am.
Call it a day at 8pm.
Crawl back Akasia,my hostel around 9pm.
Watch Beethoven Virus for one hour then go to bed.^^ this is for you, my dear sis if you want to know how my practical life now is.

It's terrible.
Worse than any normal working day of adults out there.
And my friends are all STILL having holidays.
Ok lah...it's not that bad....just that i'm a person who got easily worn out and tired.
It's quite fun to fiddle with the electronic components such as L.E.D,oscilloscope,jumper,resistor and soldering (pateri) and oh yeah, we got to do our very own TRANSFORMER....tada !!!!

*can't wait to watch the sequel of Transformer this coming june...hehe
*can't wait to go orchestra this coming july with my friends.
*can't wait to try out my bro's new bicycle in BK this weekend.

My masterpiece.It defines everything about me. I spent 3 hours on this frm 12am-3am .Having fun the whole night....hahaha

On last Saturday and Sunday, only 2 of us from ALG joined Relay For Life-abiman the president and me. Whoa....it was beyond my expectation that Intec alone has sent about 70 volunteers there including us.

And it's busy day for sure. Because i only slept for 1 hour. Abiman was really active and so he kacau iqbal and hasyim until they finally cannot stand him and escaped from his non-stop chattering.

The highlight of the event was when jaclyn victor did a duet with another male singer,i don't know what's his name, pardon me, but the duet bewteen them was so heart-touching that everybody was clapping their hands after they finished performing the song-The Prayer initially sung by Celine Dion and Josh Groban.

Oh yeah, i, as a volunteer, was tasked to sell drinks . We were seriously dehydrated from yelling at our top voice trying to attract customers to buy the drinks for charity. Thani(Tamil).....Cold drinks(english) ....Wasser(german).....shui(Chinese)......haha...and the most pathetic thing was, we couldn't drink any sip of water during the 2 hour shift.lolx.....

I spent all my coupons an drinks alone afterwards. And of course, we got to know some new friends from Monash. They're all doing medicine,pro right ? and last but not least, i just wanna blog a short post cause i'm very tired from all the practical training i'm having at GMI,Bangi now.Duh....ciaoz my friends.

Movies are a great inspiration for the idle mind to start reflect things in one’s life during the holidays,I realised .Take for example,a movie directed by the award-winning director Steven Spielberg that I’d watched recently. Oh yes,what’s the name of the movie ? Schindler’s List.

Now,wait a minute,isn’t Schindler the name of the brand of the elevators in Mydin and supermarkets ? I can visualise many question marks on you guys’ heads.Maybe you’ve never ever looked down on the floor while going up the elevator ? God knows.Anyway,craps aside, this blog isn’t about elevators,but Schindler. There’s more to this guy’s name than “elevating” elevator.

Back in 1944, the Nazis captured all the Jews so that they can be worked into slaves,no thanks to Hitler. “Der dritte Reich” a phrase synonymously linked to Adolf Hitler was a name so popular in Germany at that time , fearful enough to send any Jewish kid into hiding in all sorts of places- the basement,in the upright piano, a kayak, even the underground faeces tank.*suddenly I remembered the scene where Jamal jumped straight through the toilet bowl into the faeces pond in Slumdog Millionaire.

To Oskar Schindler, the Jews meant nothing to him, except workers. He was a businessman with a successful factory manufacturing enamelled wires.Nothing was more important to him than the welfare of his factory. Profits were needed to sustain his social activities with the high-ranked Nazi’s officials that were of utmost importance to run his factory without hindrance. You see, the Nazi’s wanted the blood of the Jews who worked under Schindler. Therefore,he had to butter up the asses of the Nazi’s and at the same time protecting his workers’ lives. That was by no means an easy task for him. And his trustworthy Jewish secretary Izhak Stern helped him a lot to pull through the difficult times.

On one grey day… No no no, it was a dark day. I saw it as a grey day because the film was in black and white. Okay, so what happened next was, a massacre of Jews was carried out by the Hitler’s regime.In just one day, thousands of Jews were shot dead and spreaded all over a hill. All of these were witnessed by Schindler’s eyes. He were shocked and terrified by the madness of Nazi’s Regime.

This event was the turning point of the otherwise painfully 3 hours long and dreadfully boring movie.He sought the help of his ever reliable secretary to compile a list of his Jewish factory workers’ names.That’s exactly how the title of the movie came about.

Negotiations were done between the Nazis and him so that the lives of his workers could be safeguarded. In 7 months,nearly all of his fortunes were used up in order to have the lives of his workers spared and well-fed.Bankruptcy was inevitable. Luckily, news about the defeat of the Nazi by the Soviet Union came in those desperate times. To the Jews, this simply spells freedom and liberty. However, to Schindler, this means that he has to flee for he was also a member of the Nazis.

When he was about to leave his factory and workers behind, he was so consumed with guilt that he broke down. He cried.He wept looking at his golden Nazi-symbolical badge before unpinned it and said: This is also gold.I could have it melted and there’ll be one more Jew standing in front of me. To this, his secretary replied: Without you, there is not a chance that 1100 Jews will be alive. Schindler was very very frustrated that he was unable to save more lives. He added: I could’ve done more. Izhak replied: You’ve done more than enough. Schindler was presented a gold ring as a token of appreciation and a letter written by the workers which can help to save Schindler’s life in case he was caught by the Soviets. To the workers, he was their saviour.This movie was made in memory of the more than 6 thousands lives of the Jews killed during Nazi’s Regime. Amen.

By now, I don’t think neither of you understand why Hitler hated Jews so much that he wanted all the Jews to be wiped out from this world. Neither do i. And so I asked my German lecturer on this: WHY ? She said,Hitler thought that the Jews were the ones to be blamed for Germany’s defeat in World War 1. Thus, the Jews must be punished according to him. He brainwashed all the others into thinking and doing the same . Undoubtedly , the Jews were discriminated, no thanks to him. With that in mind,he built his own regime to achieve his “great” vision. How could he alone persuaded others to do the same ? His oratory skills, maybe .But were the others so foolish to believe him ? I think not. Therein lies an issue in egoism.He was very much convinced that Germans are a much more superior race than the Jews. Based on his argued reason that Germans are a stronger race than the Jews, Hitler succeeded into transforming unsuspecting fellow citizens into Nazi fanatics. Some people say he was egoistic. Some people say he was just a mad commander who wants to rule the world and hold unlimited power.

This was coincidentally the issue discussed in the Reading Comprehension part of German paper. With a theme about “Race discrimination” and the phrase “All people are the same.”-I’m required to put forward my personal opinions and write about it. I was scratching my head. There’s no way I can write about the situation in my home country. It was a remarkably sensitive issue and I grew uncomfortable with the mere thoughts that what I may write will lead to my own arrest under ISA. Of course, this is a joke. I can write of course in general but I chose to say something about Hitler and the Jews. But I made a stance at last, in view of the overall situation that humans face in this challenging 21st century,

Race discrimination shall not be tolerated by mankind.

It is an act of crime against humanity.

A mistake we cannot afford to make under any circumstances.

Is it too exaggerated ? I hope not. Peace everyone =)

Semester break

My NS letter just came knocking on my house's postbox.
I was so damn lucky of being chosen to go for the National Service on June 16th at the NS camp located in Setiawan,Perak.
Oh great, i can play there while watching sunrise and sunset.
And maybe i can book myself a boat ride to Pangkor Island.
And not to mention, getting to know many friends from all over Malaysia.

Haizz....BUT i was not going to join in the fun. I knew it from the start .
Due to my "special condition", i was studying ALEVELS already by the time i was 17.
I've no idea whether i was lucky or not,cause i got to be exempted from attending NS .
There's no way i can find any 3 months break from my studies in the coming 5 years.
And my sis is eager to join NS and as fate would has it, she was not chosen.

How i spend my first week of holidays ?
1) Went shopping with mum at Mid Valley yesterday.Bought a couple new flats at Esarli. One thing that strikes me was, why do girls have to wear heels ?
Any shoe shop that i looked into lies rows and rows of KILLER HIGH HEELS or STILETTOES waiting to torture women's foot.
Yeah right*sarcastically.
And guys prefer their girlfriends to wear these and watch them suffer from unbearable foot pain.
There's one scene in MY Sassy Girl in which the ruthless female lead demands her boyfriend to wear her high heels instead. These kind of things only happen in movies.

2) Watch movies.LOTS.
XMen,step up,schindler's list,too fast too furious 4 and i can't wait to watch Beethoven Virus ,a new Korean series revolving around music,some sort like Nodame Cantabile.(Hopefully Zoing can give it to me during pracical training^^)

3)Thinking about what song to play in German Idol should i decide to join it.
Chen Liang,what's the deadline for registration ? Can i play Mozart's songs although he's not a German composer ? I think he's very famous in Germany by the way...
Still, i better pull out after knowing the strongest contender,Zoing has decided to take part in it.haha.Before i embarass myself .Geez...

4)Sleep.Sleep.Sleep.
MY first and foremost priority.In order to recover my lost sleep during exams.

5)Play PS 2.
It's a rare case. I've got nothing to do and my bro NEEDS to concentrate on his school exams.No doubt he'll try to snatch the controller from me but who's the BOSS in the house after mummy and papa have gone to fetch things for YS ? ME>>>...hehe

6)Honing my driving skills.
There's no better time to polish my driving skills than now.I'm grabbing every single chance to drive my mum around. Although my mum will experience her "ride in a lifetime", she's still the best coach to make me a less reckless driver.And hey, i can even drive on my own to the nearest Giant today !

7)Munching imported chocolates
German instructions and ads printed on the packaging of the chocolates.
hmmm..."diese Schokolade schmeckt zu jeder Gelegenheit".

The Day Exams Over

The ALG Street Gangsters.Hahaha......a bit crazy.

Last Thursday during the 2nd week of study leave, we got a chance to visit the Deutsche Schule Kuala Lumpur in PJ. Basically, it's an international school for german kids.
We were so excited.
THe guys can't take their eyes off the hot gals. As expected.
The German are very tall, well-built but my eyes were on the gals...ahem.
I don't know why, hot gals were definitely much more interesting to look at.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not a lesbian...haha

Anyway, it's so cool to chat with them in German.
The 1st time i'm able use a foreign language that i've studied for almost 10 months to communicate with people.
The feeling is indescribable.
Very happy for the efforts i've made to improve my German.

Not many places were offered each year by JPA to study medicine.

In my case, i'd sheer luck being offered the scholarship and German engineering scares most people away...so the level of competiton lowers significantly as compared to medicine, the"hottest" field among the offered course of study in JPA.

Anyway, i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

She's going to Kolej Matikulasi Kedah in Changlun this Sunday.

IT's a long journey from Puchong to there obviously.

Ther'e s no way you can come back home every weekend like me...

I'm not laughing or smiling about it, but you'll definitely miss home like there's no tomorrow.

AND JPA results are going to be announced any moment now.

Let's hope for the best.

On last Sunday, Chow Sien and her bro and me and my sis went to visit our ex piano teacher,Miss Loh.

My sis and i took the LRT from Bukit Jalil to Bandar Tasik Selatan in Cheras.

We talked about so many things that are happening right now, our studies, piano,money,kids and career choice.

I couldn't help but sighed about my piano .

It's such a waste about taking so many exams and learning piano for so many years only to be forced,well sort of,because of hectic studies, to lose my playing skills gradually.

I could still well, play but not as swiftly as last time=)

My fingers get rusty and fast pieces required flexible fingers.

The Secret by Jay Chou became"cacat" when i played it now...damn it...

I couldn't even play a song on piano by memory when my friends asked me to play the piano during the film workshop....

I was really upset on how did i land myself in such a terrible spot ?...tell me.

and i'm not coming back this weekend either.

It’s a complete disaster.Way beyond my wildest imagination.
How could this happen to me ?
“This is not true”,the little voice deep down inside my heart told me desperately.
Nope.IT”S THE FACT. The truth is painful.
Initially, we ALG students are required to complete a 3 weeks long of practical training at GMI.
ALL OF THAT ABOVE CHANGED LASTMINUTE.
@should I say, just 2 weeks before the due training date.
NOW, we will only have 2 weeks of holiday after the finals which end on May 15.
Next, the whole training occupies the whole month of june starting June 1st -26th, jeopardising my holiday plan. 1 week of holiday after that and we’re off to launch our 3rd semester.
How relaxing. How soothing is this holiday after what seems like a restless and tiring semester and not to mention again the training part. Sarcastically*
This is like a pittance compared to my fellow friends. They have the luxury to enjoy 7 weeks of holidays fully. Can you imagine that ?
I felt like throwing myself on the bed and jump on it, kicking all the bolsters and pillows to the floor.
I felt like grabbing someone and kick,double-punch and slam their heads on the floor.
My heart was filled with adrenaline rush all of a sudden.
The anger and frustration couldn’t be contained in my head any longer.
I screamed, shouted and yelled: WHAT THE HELL !!! ARE THEY NUTS !!! *banging the door.
My dream holiday plan to Sabah was now shattered to pieces.
My plan of joining BRATS camp at Kota Bharu, Kelantan is right now officially,totally dismissed as a mere random thought that is of no way being possible to be realised anymore.
I don’t care right now.
I want to go on my beautifully ,painstakingly crafted and organised holiday trip.
Speechless as I may, I blasted my room door and grabbed my handphone .
Luckily SHING YEE told me,i had mumbled my frustrations.”Rubbish…..rubbish……rubbish…”
Then Abiman. Straight to the point, I said, “i’ve made up my mind to skip the last week of the practical training. Do you think it’s possible ?” He chuckled.
Lastly, I called up my mum, who was now away from us in Penang together with my dad.
“Brainless.Stupid.Foolish.”
“Sigh…I don’t know what to say anymore.”
No mood to study already.
It is as if one being poured a bucket of cold water from the head down . The scheming mind of me that is busy listing out activities during holidays fizzes out giving off sighs of frustrations and helplessness. Negative gases vapourises from my soulless mind.
I don’t know what to say.
I don’t care really.
I just want to enjoy my holidays badly.
Is that too much ?
To all my friends, please ask me out or at least organise a gathering during the 2weeks of holidays that I’ll ever have after my finals. …

Exhausted.Tired.Relieved.
The weekly OPEN MIKE has ended.
So was the torture and suffering of ALG 12 Students.Hahaaha................

Well, there's one thing for sure, i 've no regrets whatsoever.
Let me recap what had happened in the days counting down to the finals.
On Wednesday, names of finalists were announced and the theme of the OM was also revealed.

Oh gosh, so easy right ? You can talk craps and nonsense and of course, your piece of mind, THANK YOU VERY MUCH>

But hey, wait a second, this time around, our audience did not just comprised our own friends and lure dear German lecturers only. The VVIPs namely respected and high-ranking officials coming from Goethe Institute, German Embassy and UiTM main Campus were the jury of the day.Now,our shoulders suddenly have to carry a burden of a thousand kilos more.No jokes man..

Anyway, i' was especially tired after Thursday cz my class ended on 5pm . Thank God, Nicole then had us ,the 6 finalists brainstorming and think deeply and thoughtfully with the theme. Next up, the rehearsals for the big THING in the lecture hall. Straight after Nic drive us home, i'd a discussion with Qistina.

And guess what on Friday ?, i'd the amazing luck ever of drawing the same no.as her. It means that we 'll be discussion partners .Gott Sei Dank !!! Anyway, we were both nervous during our turns. I don't know whether you' felt the same too, Qistina...haha

Phew~ When it ended, all of us took a picture with the panel of jurys.

This video provides some insights to outsiders about what's an ALG student's life is about.

Admittedly, true to the introduction of this video, the fact that it's not easy studying in ALEVELS GERMAN a.k.a ALG was also acknowledged in this video. However, to make it more interesting, i sought the opinions and advices from one of the German lecturers who is teaching ALG, namely Herr Brian. Interviews with my fellow coursemates from ALG 12 were also inserted in this video....hahaha..thanks to me, you guys : Syam,Prahlad,Rashidi,Yik Chen,Ooi Siang and Herr Brian are going to be famous from now onwards !!! *devil laughing....

Back to this video, the process of editing was really super-duper time-consuming.Seriously.

The startling fact of this 2-days film workshop gonna be on from 8am-8pm shocks us. I felt incredibly tired after that.What's more, i've a Physics test which is going to be really tough (as said by others who'd sat for it) on Monday.Which means that i hardly have any time to relax and not to mention revising. I think, i probably gonna die......

Anyway, i really had a good time in this workshop.Like Ah Sii said, this chance is once in a lifetime.And i definitely don't wanna miss out the fun .The knowledge that Mr.Zan and Mr.Woo Ming Jin (Da Huang Pictures)imparted to us,participants really come in useful in our future. They were very pro and experts in the filmmaking industry.Vielen Dank,alles !!!

ON the very next day, we were required to make a video in groups.The given topic was HUMAN TRAFFIC. Our group members comprising of me,qistina,tick son,yik chen and jian zoing. Making a good film is harder than what you though you've seen in cinemas. Camera techniques,editing process and sound quality were among some of the factors that may affect the overall end results.

Credits must goes to all of the team members who all had made contributions to the making of this film.

It's Friday again.
Es ist Freitag wieder.

A day i 've designated as my rest day usually.

Not this week.
I've always somehow managed to rush all the homeworks especially German before Friday

Come every Friday, we've our annual Open Mike which means no German classes and hence no

homework IF u finished all the Hausaufgaben(hwk) on thursday.

On Thursday,i went out with my housemates and college friends to SACC(Shah Alam Central Centre) after class ends at 6pm.Tired,never mind cause we all have the mood to go out to celebrate the end of Maths and Chemistry Test.

All my friends told me that SACC apparently stands for "Shah Alam Cheap Cheap",which sounds superbly hilarious to the ears.Anyway, we had our dinner at Kenny Rogers and then bought some Big Apple Doughnuts.It's very tempting .Totally.

Although everybody knew it contains lots of sugar,carbohydrates and never mind tons of fats, i bought 3 .All of the 3 doughnuts are of chocolate flavour.Everything about chocolate is nice, well, to me.=) Especially the "Tube Alien"(one of the assorted flavours of doughnuts there), whoa, not only the chocolate topping is generous, the inside is also full of melted chocolate.Heavenly.A sense of happiness is in the air.Chocolate always makes one's day happier.Right ?

On Friday, i introduced my coursemates to Baker's Cottage.It's a bakery shop but it offers set meals also..And i treated my friend the spaghetti as her birthday treat.

It's Friday, i'm supposed to feel happy.But....

I was feeling one-kind.Something's not right. Sigh...i wasn't going back on Friday this weekend.

Unusual in my case, cause i always go home on weekends. And this weekend turns out to be the 1st ever weekend i spent at my hostel in Shah Alam .Yup, my mum went back to Penang for All Souls Day.No big deal, my friends from Sabah and Sarawak will no doubt booed at me.

And you guys are right, i'm indeed a homegirl. What's the matter with that ?

On Saturday, we had a pizza fest, thanks to YenYing,love ya ! Somehow,it cheers my day up.

And what's with Sunday? Boredom rules the day. And my laptop needs some serious new blood of songs. And don't mention about radio or mp3. I don't have either one of these.

Extremely, damn and freakingly bored.

I miss home.

I miss my piano.

I miss my dog.

P.S :Physics test next week.Still struggling with it.Wish me luck ! German Film Workshop next weekend.Been very excited about it.=)

Sonnenschein,Strand und Spaß (Sunshine,Beach and Fun)

Attention: This blog will be the longest blog i have ever posted.All in all,the title of my blog summed everything up in this amazing trip. Initially, i am worried about the weather that was awaiting us at Redang. This was partly because Chen Liang and my ALG guys friends told me that they experienced heavy rains and therefore couldn't make it to Redang after stopping at Perhentian Island. I prayed for sunny skies and fine weather. And thank God, everything turned out to be beautiful and marvellous. More than i could possibly wished for.

We set off for Merang Jetty around 3.30pm using the Karak-Kuantan Highway also known as East-West Express Highway.The blue skies looked promising of a fine and sunny weather I thought to myself. I am fully aware that my butt was going to be at the same position for 8 hours of long journey. The 3 of us (me,my sis and my lil’bro) kept my dad amused and entertained with our live lame jokes and boisterous laughters XD. You know, it was super tiring to drive non-stop.Too bad me and my sis couldn’t drive to lighten his burden.You see, my dad couldn’t sleep with a peaceful mind if we were to drive the NazaRia on the dangerously steep and curved highway.This was the least thing we could do to keep our dad’s mind light instead of being drowsy and sleepy.

My bro was at least occupied playing with Rubik cube that I bought him last Monday at Popular.It helps that the scenery alongside the mountainous highway was astoundingly beautiful. Deep valleys flanked by lush greenery amid mountains. This is Malaysia. Tropical country which is blesed with sunny skies all year round.

We nearly got ourselves lost a few times during the journey. My sis and I stayed awake during the whole journey trying to navigate through the rural roads to Merang arming with a Peninsular Map Of Malaysia.The confusion stemmed from the correct spelling of the name of our due destination, Merang or Marang. We couldn’t quite spot where Merang was in the Terengganu and so automatically assumed that Marang was the place.We were wrong. Luckily all the rural folks whom we asked for directions showed us the right way though.By the time we reached Merang, darkness had completely engulfed pur surroundings. We were desperate to find a budget hotel or motel just to crash the night as we were scheduled to catch out boat transfer to Redang at 9.30 am the following morning. My poor dad really needed some good rest after the energy-sapping drive. How the search for the hotel turned out to be a thrill itself ! A creepy and dark rural alley took us to The Aryani,a Balinese resort.

The Aryani.It gave us a chill down our spine the moment we explored the grounds at 12 midnight. Nobody was manning the reception and the fans and lights were still on. Not a single shadow of human was seen lurking around the corner. We backed out immediately and it actually reminds me of some scenes from the movie thriller”House Of Wax”.Totally creepy and shooked us from heads to toes.

Sunrise.At last, we settled down at Merang Suria Resort.Sunrise from our rooms overlooking the beach at Merang Suria Resort.

The next morning, we boarded the boat at Merang Jetty.The boat ride took about 45 minutes which was considered short compared to the boat ride from Penang to Langkawi which takes 2hours.

Kampung Merang, also acts as one of the crucial jetty for boat transfer to Redang Island.

Day 1

We got our first taste of salty seawater when the strong waves pushed us as the boat dropped us about 3 metres off the shore. The white and sandy sands off Redang feel amazingly soft and gentle to our feets.After checking in our room, a sumptious lunch awaits us. For every lunch and dinner, we had 4 Chinese main dishes that suited remarkably to our taste. We were very fortunate to have fishes for every meal.It seems that fishes are aplenty at there.Maybe they bought fishes directly from fishermen.The portion of the dishes was also very large and we were guaranteed to eat till we drop .Hmm….there’s no need to worry on where to find Chinese foods and prices as all meals(2breakfasts,2 lunches, 2 dinners ,2 tea time meals) were included already in the package.Drinking water was available at all times too.Last time at Perhentian, the resort charged guests for drinking water.Rm 3 for evry 1.5 litre of water.And not mentioning that there’s electricity curfew too. The facilities at Redang were certainly much better and complete.As my father puts it aptly, we only need to concentrate on having fun and play to the max.Hurray !

Aha, sunny skies and scorching hot sun greeted us.
This vacation was everything me and my family wanted. No worries about where and what to have for breakfast,lunch,tea time and dinner. I had luck booking the right package for my family. All I ever knew about the package offered by Redang Bay was only through the Internet and nothing else.

The most famous and beautiful resort along the beach, Laguna Redang Resort. I actually went there a few times during my stay there.In fact,Laguna Redang is undeniably the best resort along the beach .You have luck staying there,it's a 5 star hotel ! Rich people....

Coconuts anyone ?

The beach in front of us where we were staying for 3 days 2nights.Meanwhile,Redang Bay,where I was staying, is located at the end of the strip of beach.

See how many "refugees" snorkelling there in search of corals ?When one is strapped with a life jacket, more energy is needed to paddle forward seriously. Of course, one is guaranteed to be able to float and standing up straight physically in sea with it.I gave up on the "lifesaver" on my 4th snorkelling trip the day after it to have "without-a-care"swim with no burden.

This was our first snorkelling destination,Pulau Paku Besar. Amazingly beautiful waters.

It was sad to see the some corals were dead from the bleaching caused by the growing arrivals of snorkellers,no thanks to the increasing popularity of Redang locally and internationally.Still, i had fun exploring the marine life underwater . But,many of the corals are slowly losing its lustre and colours.

Day 2
We woke up early before dawn. Watching sunrise from the beach was one activity we definitely wouldn’t want to miss. Some beachgoers were busy playing beach volleyball.After the breakfast, we were gearing up to have some fun at the first snorkelling destination of the day-Redang Marine Park.
True to its name, a diverse species of fishes were seen swimming in the ocean.But the current was quite strong and thus, extra caution was needed in poking up from the sea once in a while in case I got drifted away too much.Haha….schools of barracudas,sea cucumbers,coral fishes and ikan bilis swam with me.Lolx.Needless to say, my hands got so tanned after this. And of course, I am going to
be even more tanned after these 3 days. I love rocking the hammock that hanged from coconut tree to another coconut tree the most. You can lay there swinging and really feel the sea breeze blowing and kiss your cheek. A sense of peace and serenity was immediately rstored back into the mind.No worries.No pressure.No stress from all the crazy cycles of test week after week. The lapping sound of the waves crashing the shore triggers the hormone in your brain to lull you gently to sleep like a baby.Watching the world passes by like this has never been so enjoying and relaxing when all you need is to, gaze up the vast blue skies through the foliage provided by the coconut trees.It works the same during the night. Just that you will see the nightsky without light pollution (all the fluorescent light bulbs in the city) and start counting the stars. Big Dipper ,The Southern Cross and FU LU SHOU were some of the constellations I managed to spot.

More More Tea Inn., actually it was a souvenir shop by now.Laguna Redang certainly knows how to market their resort by rebuliding this movie set particularly on this beach just beside its hotel lobby.Totally damn famous.Made famous by a Hong Kong film starring Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng after they shoot the film here. I even bought a "More More Tea Inn" T-shirt.Haha.=)

Day 3
We were ready to go back .Exhausted from the snorkelling and all the fun we had yesterday. Again my dad bucked up for a long journey home. Along the coastal highway all the way from Merang down to Kuantan, we passed by a small but nonetheless famous town in Malaysia.

U guys have learned about it in Geography.Kertih. The oil tanks and natural gas pipes were so huge and everywhere i turned, a Petronas logo was seen. Oh yeah, to all my fellow coursemates, here's a Chinese seafood restaurant i stumbled upon that serves diners in German-English Menu. I was browsing the menu when suddenly the words hit me saying: I'm Deutsch !!! (Ok,it's holiday and after having my german test before holiday has made me forgotten everything about deutsch.)The translation is pretty good and accurate i can say.The seafood was nice and we were charged pretty reasonably too. German tourists should check this place out.

Earth Hour

Come March 28th, the earthlings are doing their part to save their planet by reducing the energy consumption that has obviously taken its toll on our one and only mother earth.

A direct and no-nonsense approach to achieve this noble goal ?
Easy.Simple.No frills.
Switch off all the lights and any electrical appliances that are sucking the electrical supply dry at your workplace and home.

If you're serious about this environmental cause, well...why don't you join in the fun at the Earth Hour event that is going to be held at UCSI ? It's open to public, and free of charge too. I got to know about it on facebook anyway. The power of facebook is overwhelming, in the sense that it spreads information at the speed of light...whoa !

Accordin to WWF, the organiser behind this global event which has already seen many countries taking part and supporting this cause. As a matter of fact, many of the world landmarks are scheduled to be enveloped in total darkness by switching off their lights off for 1 hour from 8.30pm-9.30pm.Malysia is doing the right thing as Kl Tower is joining the fray apparently.

And he ROCKS too !

I finally catched up with movies during this 1 week break.
Cape no.7 , a movie deemed nice by my sis due to its nice songs.
So, i gave it a go.
And.The music didn't disappoint me.It was brilliant.
The piano rendition if the background music was touching and connects the plot beautifully.The movie is very slow-paced at first, but luckily the song makes all the difference to me. Sometime, i admit, i watched or raved about a movie just because of that particular melody. The power of piano combined with romantic melody will just ring in your head non-stop.Here's Love Letter.

Last but not least, the duet between the Japanese singer and the male lead of this movie is very emotional .Enjoy it !!!

Clouds scatttering all over the vast blue sky.Sunny sun indeed=) Like Sonnenschein.
Well, i went back to seksyen 4 bandar kinrara today to take my official SPM certificate.
One wonders why it took the government more than 365 days to process the cert ?
Then what use of it to us by the time we've all enrolled in college ?
The only logical answer which cames to my mind is, FOR DECORATION PURPOSE.
LOlx. Seriously.

New faces giving me a weird look.Familiar faces wondering whether i'm the eldest one or the younger one.Old faces of the school buildings given a makeover by the painter.Lovey-dovey new couples dating in the school compound as usual.Just that they don't know me and i don't know theirs as well.Musical notes produced by the wind orchestra drift out from the BILIK MUZIK into my ears. As usual,their practice time on Friday.Secondary school students wearing school uniforms waiting at the bus stop. >>>2 years ago, i'll be home in less than 5mins walking back home for lunch before coming back to school for co-curricular activities.haha.

I went straight to the office at the 2nd floor and guess who i met ?...My form 1 BM teacher, PN AZIAH.Luckily, i could still recall her name. She's confused whether i'm YF or YS ? but certainly, she recognized me the moment she saw me.She hugged me. AWH...I looked different, somehow she said, "lebih gemuk".Yeah, i gained weight .=) And maybe it's because i'm wearing baju kurung , "nice" she said.She asked" Ada miss kat sekolah tak ?" I was silent. "err...yea. sedikit" Swt, i realised, my secondary school life was terribly boring.We chatted how's life is now .The school itself didn't change.It's the people who changed over the course of years. For example, PN.Carolyn (EST )and Pn.Lau(ACCOUNT) weren't there teaching anymore.Sigh...The right corner of my eye suddenly spotted the new headmistress sitting in the office. She's well ...erm,looked experienced and strict to me.

I felt awkward looking at my results. It felt so distant, so long time ago. Nostalgic for me.
Some juniors thought i 'm surprisingly...ahem, a "guru ganti" there.HAHA...simply because i wore baju kurung and carrying my laptop bag. Wonderful memories of a nerd =)

Mein Vater schenkt meiner Mutter dies^^^ am Valentinestag obwohl er nicht hier war, sondern in Indonesia. Sehr romantisch, oder ?

Eine Frau traf sich mit einem charmanten Mann während eines Urlaubs.
Danach haben sie sich miteinander verliebt. Eine große Überrschung !
So schnell und plötzlich war ihren Hochszeit, der schockierte ihren Verwandten und Familie.
Wer verursachte das ....ich bin mir sicher, dass jemand weiß.

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button

It was certainly fresh.
Never had i in my 17 years of life,watching such a strange yet interesting story.
I've watched way too much movies nowadays ,to know which film is lousy and which one that will totally knock ur head off, rendering you unconcious.....swept your feets off from the ground.

It tells of the story of Benjamin(played by Brad Pitt), who was born looking old and then younger as he grew up as an adult. This film was adapted froma novel if i;m not mistaken.Some juicy details in the film that i would love you to spot in this funny movie is,
HOw many times did the old man got struck by lightning ?(the whole audience in the cinema is laughing every time the scene of the man got struck by lightning was played)
HOw many woman did Benjamin slept with ?

Things can be quite hard for me to explain here,and i don't want to write spoilers....hahaha,you must watch this film BY YOURSELF!!!

Illuminated Trip To Temple

The moon was hanging high up on the starry night skies.Round,bold and beautiful like a mirror that illuminates the street. Giving light to the lost and helpless trekker in forest.

It was on the 14th day of CNY.The penultimate day before CNY ends.
And Oh my, the trip was wonderful and fun, what's more with my friends.
The beginning of the journey by bus was dreadful, terrible and unthinkable.

Hot,sweaty and bumpy,the conditions in the bus were even worse than the normal school bus that spits out tons of unenvironmental-friendly carbon monoxide without guilt on the highway.

After almost what seems like an hour in the "sauna", we reached Dong Zen Temple about 5pm.
We took a group pic of about 70 of us, students from my college before we headed off our own ways to explore the temple grounds. The garden was so vast and decorated with Chinese lanterns that hung off from the trees and building structure.

I was really enjoying myself, imitating all kinds of wacky statues with my friends.

And of course, the food. Though it's all vegetarian food, we were eager to try it out .Some of the money from the sales of the food were to be donated to charity.You can say, our eyes lighted up at the slightest mention of Bak Kut Teh.And, it feels good that you're doing something to lessen the plight of the unfortunate ones.

People thronged the temple during the last 2 weeks of CNY , mainly because the temple was opened to public only on CNY and Mooncake Festival. It is ,in fact, a joyous affair for us. We were so happy that, at least we got the chance to experience the merry CNY atmosphere one last time before we immersed ourselves throughly into studies.

Night time came.
It was then, that we saw a different side of the temple. Beautiful,astounding and wonderfully decorated with all sorts of lanterns in the magnificent garden.Little sparkling electric light bulbs dotted the trees. No regrets going there, except 2. I didn't manage to get in the building that exhibits Buddha grottoes and glass sculptures of Buddha. My friend told me, it was the best damn thing your eyes have ever laid on......too beautiful ....haiz,schade.

Anyway, i exhausted my camera battery before we said goodbye to Buddha...haha.
An unforgettable experience indeed.=)

Wreaking havoc in the jungles of KKB

When i went to Kuala Kubu Baru a.k.a KKB for waterfall trip, many ppl would ask KKB where ?FYI,if i'm not mistaken, KKB is somewhere in between ULU YAM and BATANG KALI.If you are still clueless as to where is it, refer to Google Maps.

Many years ago,i already knew KKB for its fiery rapids that is suitable for white water rafting and kayaking. These are extreme sports. I was craving to have some fun at it when i read about it on newspaper.
Alas, it did not materialise.

Forwarding to 2009....
On a fine sunny Saturday,2 days jz before my 2nd sem starts,my family and i just set out for KKB in our trusty MPV,Nazaria without much plan in mind as usual.
KKB is located not far from KL,it took us roughly 1 and a half hour to reach there.
True,KKB is a small town, but still,without any research and planning on where's the waterfall actually, our eyes are looking aimlessly at trees and bushes showing no traces of water either.
Thus,Plan A went wrong.
There's always Plan B as depicted in movies.
Our plan B- to explore what's cool in KKB along our way trailing up to Fraser Hill.

A dam containing trillions volume of water greeted us as we turned into the corner along the highway. Stunning landscapes aside,there's even ppl gathering to collect the "mountain water" that flows out from the pipes in the walls of the cemented hillside that is very common in North_south Express Highway.

Out of luck, we discovered a river along with a small waterfall. Some families were seen BBQ-ing already.So, we jz went down to "suffer" from the chiliness of the water.

As we travelled along the scenic mountainous highway that was shrouded with morning mist, we took in the sight of aplenty of bamboo trees that shoot up from the jungle that enveloped the hills around us.It has a calming effect on us the city dwellers, away form the hustle and bustle of KL.

LOLx,THEN...we had a crazy but nonetheless fantastic idea,thx to my mum.
WHY NOT WE CUT DOWN and COLLECT THE BAMBOO LEAVES ?...so that,she(mum) don't have to buy it from the markets during DUAN WU JIE since it's quite costly.

Hence,our adventures of cutting the leaves down amid pouring drizzles begin.IT was damn cool...the passer-bys threw us a look that says= what the hell are they doing by the roadside ?

Done with that, we arrived at Fraser's Hill.As for me, i was shivering in T-shirts and shorts.Blame it on the last-minute decisions.Frankly,Fraser Hill is one of the most serene places your eyes have ever seen.Sipping a hot chocolate while shivering in cold amidst the lush greenery covering with thick fog is one of the best feeling in the world....as they said, enjoying life.=)

The Annual CNY Steamboat

I love and hate steamboat. It sounds ironic but really u can only eat so much steamboat at one time. And oh pls, don't tell me to eat it for 5 days straight in CNY....i'll vomit .
Okay, craps aside, there's no crabs in our steamboat, only fake crab's flesh....u know, those red and white that comes in a frozen package in supermarket.

Haiz....the mood was definitely different this year....so was the atmosphere.
Anyway, it feels so good when the whole family comes and sit together to "dump" literally all the veggies , fishballs, abalones,yee mee, prawns, fishes and what else, the fake crabs that everybody loves...haha

Too bad that i forgot to take one pic to show ya'all.

My cousin, Vei Shearn( the one who can't make it 4 the funeral) was BACK!!!
Err....he's a very tall guy...almost 194cm....haha...taller than u, andrew...hehe
FYI, he used to be the leader in playing games in our childhood....games like jumping over the "fence"(made of rubber bands)....simply bcz he's very very tall....like bamboo sticks(jz a metaphor,no offence) ...and he's the "crapper" always.

Laughters were in the air certainly yesterday, the steamboat dinner was totally heartwarming...haha
The most funny thing was: my sis threw the whole egg with its shell into the pot...OMG.
Okayyy....the whole pot was basically polluted...thx to her.

After that, we switched on our loud speakers playing CNY songs to rival our neighbours in terms of amplitudes(loudness)..muahaha. They turned off theirs soon and we won....lolx.

One Last Regret

Mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted.

Thank God, everything went smoothly.
Hate that particular funeral march song.Why do they have to play the sorrowful departure song ?...Made us all so emotional....haiz...even my cousin sis's daughter who is just in primary school cried..AND the josssticks...irritated our eyes until we became teary-eyed.....

Phew~The eldest grandson wasn't able to attend the funeral march bcz of His AS exam preparation....and he wasn't informed either, cz we don't want him to lose focus.
Sigh~It's so near cny.We all hope so much that she could just hold on a wee bit longer.
But it's all fated...the same goes for my late grandpa too.both of them died around the same time jz b4 cny .
Suddenly, i remembered the family portrait that we took last cny.
It was so funny...it was unusual and hard to ask them(my relatives and Ah Ma) to pose bcz they are camera-shy...haha....but still luckily , we managed to take one.

And...who knows....that was the last one with her in the picture with us.

Death Note

It's 1.33 am in the morning.
Tonight's going to be the lastnight...
Tomorrow, the funeral march procession begins.
Here am i awake to fulfil my duty : jaga the collection box.
I don't wish to break the news...my grandma jz passed away peacefully yesterday night.Actually, i didn't think much about it after getting the call from my dad....
Heck...i don't even know what's going on the hospital....no mental preparation...
BUTmemories of my childhood of us, grandchildren spent with her proves to be heart-wrenching.
I dare not to call my mum,cz i'm not sure what's going to be my reaction.
My mind keeps on rewinding the episodes of our life with her ...tears start swelling up in my eyes...
On the car, only then i knew the full story from my sis...what's her actual cause of death...
My mum cried as expected...luckily she was there beside grandma before it happens...
Then...i was back in penang straight after my dad fetched me from hostel...damn tiring.
No choice, i gotta skip 2days of my school...No CNY celebration this year, No angpau.
May your soul rest in peace ....Deo Gracias....
